Founded by New Yorker Stacy Chan in 2013, the eponymous brand pairs minimalist, modern design with traditional Italian craftsmanship. We are not about fast fashion and throw away items. Known for our signature clean lines and bold colour, each handbag is designed and made to last from season to season. All our Italian leather accessories are designed in London and handmade in Italy.
THE STARTAfter seeing the same handbag designs over and over again and being disillusioned by the tenuous “Made in Italy” claims from brands everywhere, I began sketching my own designs while working at a hedge fund in London. To bring my ideas to life, I enrolled in a Handbag Design course at the London College of Fashion. The next big step was to leave my decade-long finance career and commit to building an accessories brand founded on authenticity and distinct design. |

OUR MATERIALSWe use genuine Italian leather for our handbags, pouches and accessories from a small town in Tuscany famed for its leather-making traditions. We work with them to make our custom colour combinations in small quantities. We use leather as it is a biproduct of the meat industry and believe it creates products that will stand the test of time. Our tannery also pays particular attention to environmental issues as the workers and their families all live in the surrounding villages. Learn More |
OUR FACTORIESWe are proud to work with two Italian manufacturers for all our production. A small family-run factory in Florence produces all our leather handbags, pouches and accessories. A factory in the Marché region of Italy that specialises in metalwork creates our custom metal pieces, carabiner keyring and was our earliest partner to produce my unique clutch bag designs. |

MY DESIGNSFrom the beginning, I wanted to design pieces to last from season to season without feeling boring. Starting from classic shapes, I used clean lines and infused them with bold colour pairings to create a style that feels both modern and classic. My inspiration comes from architecture, art, nature and, of course, from my amazing customer community. The design and sampling process can take months before production even begins. Learn more |
I am so proud that a journey that began with a sketchbook is now a brand with customers all over the world. Our handbags have been featured in The Telegraph, The Evening Standard, Elle Magazine, Harper's Bazaar and others and have been carried by members of the Royal Family.
