DESIGNER NOTES

The Veronica Tote Bag was designed as an everyday handbag, but I wanted to go beyond the typical tote bag.  I used a double-sided Italian leather to make sure the handbag was lightweight as I found that often before I put anything into a bag, it was heavy!  I added light gold pyramid studs for a dash of luxury, the brand’s signature “V” cut out and was able to include an internal pocket without adding any seams to the outside of the bag.

The snap button loops keep the straps together and can be unbuttoned to load more things into the tote bag.  This really is a work-horse bag as the leather straps are not only stitched in, they are bolted in with the metal studs.  I am always impressed by how much some of my customers manage to carry around and it has never failed me yet. ~ Stacy

BEHIND THE NAME

The Veronica Totes are handbags to get you through every day with strength and confidence.

The Veronica Tote Bags are named after my partner’s mother who unfortunately passed away from Breast Cancer.  Although I was only able to spend a small amount of time with her, I was able to learn what a strong, confident woman she was through her son.  He told me about her strength and drive to reinvent herself after starting a business and changing careers, while her love of horses meant she dedicated much of her free time to volunteering at Riding for the Disabled. ~ Stacy
